White Sunday
Textile intervention on lent weapons. STEINWIDDER crochets a “second skin” around lent weapons and by doing this removes the original function of the objects in a process of deliberation. Part of the intervention is that the depictions of the objects – photographic reproductions by Klaus Fritsch in 1:1 size - are framed in showcases of appropriate measurements.
The adapted original objects are given back to the owner.
