Intermediate Spring | Summer
In this collection, similar to previous ones, STEINWIDDER focusses entirely on the processing of textile waste of: Worn out t-shirts and sweatshirts, ripped apart and torn into pieces, provide the source material for the further working process.
Without the use of other supporting materials, inserts or backing, STEINWIDDER reconfigures the torn pieces into sloppy sweater dresses, trousers, oversized shirts and jackets. The remaining traces of usage add to the characteristic style underlying the highly crafted design.
The entire collection is produced in Vienna. It is to be viewed as a project-oriented collection of exclusive and unique pieces, that may be extended and amended to include associatively related designs at any time. Reproductions are created in limited series, showing affine characteristics.
